It’s been just over a month since Summers-Taylor Inc. closed on the former Model Mill, a piece of property city officials believe will become the cornerstone of a rejuvenated West Walnut Street district.
An Elizabethton-based construction contractor has finalized its purchase of the former Model Mill property.
Johnson City commissioners tonight will consider the first annual $3 million expense for street resurfacing and a three-year plan that will run through fiscal years 2016-2018.
