Carter roads at higher elevation impacted by snow

ELIZABETHTON — Wednesday’s day of winter weather provided a big workout for the Carter County Highway Department. Road crews were active in all the areas of higher elevation that normally are impacted by winter weather.

Carter County heroes to be honored by bridge dedications this weekend

County acquiring right of way for Roan Mountain bridge project
