A Johnson City man accused of shooting at his wife, narrowly missing her head, was arrested last month on an attempted murder charge.
Police charged a Kingsport man Friday with murder and attempted murder after a pregnant woman lost her fetus from a north Johnson City trailer park beating, according to a news release.

BLOUNTVILLE — A man who allegedly tried to kill his former girlfriend and set fire to her Kingsport home has been arrested by police in Hamblen County.
The woman suffered second- and third-degree burns on her head, arms and torso. She later was flown by helicopter to Vanderbilt University Hospital in Nashville because of the seriousness of her injuries.
The 28-year-old man was charged with attempted first-degree murder. The victim was flown to JCMC.
