Tennessee point guard transfer BJ Edwards has committed to SMU according to his Instagram post on Friday.

Edwards, a Johnson City native and son of former ETSU running back Brian Edwards, appeared in 14 games as a freshman with the Vols. Playing opportunities appeared to be limited, however, for the 6-3 guard with both Santiago Vescovi and Zakai Zeigler set to return along with transfer additions.
