He said Hilbert “had a great idea recently when he started making street signs displaying the Keep Carter County Beautiful logo.
Hilbert is the manager of the Elizabethton’s Street and Sanitation Department. Jordan said he and his organization “sincerely appreciate and thank Mr. Hilbert and the City of Elizabethton for actively getting involved in supporting our anti-litter and illegal dumping campaign. The metal signs are professionally made of a reflective material. We also want to thank Mr. Mike McDonald, a KCCB board member for designing the KCCB logo.’’
Jordan also said he wanted to invite the Carter County Highway Department to follow the city’s example and make and install KCCB signs in Carter County.
“We also would invite our Tennessee Department of Transportation partners to do likewise along the state roads in Carter County,” Jordan said.
