Crews continue to put the finishing touches on the Model Mill on West Walnut Street. Summers-Taylor moved its headquarters into former flour mill— constructed in 1909 — in November. Other tenants have joined the company in the building, which was redeveloped with the aid of tax increment financing at a projected cost of $15 million.
Tenants include East Tennessee State University’s advancement and alumni offices and the law firm Baker Donelson. Work on Crumb Bakery, which is located at the corner of Sevier and West Walnut streets, is also wrapping up at the site.
