Christmas in the Park kicked off Saturday night with the lighting of 65 trees decorated by various businesses and organizations. People strolled through the park all evening to take in the colorful displays.
Christmas in the Park continues through Jan. 1.
The event is presented by the Blue Plum Organization in partnership with the City of Johnson City and BrightRidge Broadband. Additional support is provided by Town View of Johnson City, the Johnson City Area Chamber of Commerce, Shamrock and WJHL.
