Jerry Cole, of Johnson City, took this picture in his backyard. He says some of these lilies bloom a little later in the summer and are extremely pretty.
Alaskan views are a wonderful dessert for the eyes that feed the soul of any lucky visitors. On my most recent trip this June, magical lake reflections of lofty mountains dappled in glistening snow started our day. Again, at Silver Salmon Creek Lodge, Lake Clark National Park, Alaska, I was treated with impressive sights of 25-30 grizzly bears playing on the beach while searching for clams. The double-exposure above combines two favorite memories. Photo taken by Patsy Jane Lewis.
Pam Robbins, of Elizabethton, took this picture of Lady Rose Bud high on Roan Mountain. Submitted by Helga Maria Mitchell.
