The Johnson City Police Department arrested James Perkinson, 32, of Johnson City on Sunday for possession of a weapon by a convicted felon, possession of a weapon during commission or attempt to commit a dangerous felony, felony possession of drug paraphernalia, maintaining a dwelling where narcotics are kept or sold, and manufacturing Schedule I narcotics.

Officers responded to a residence on a disturbance call, and during the course of the investigation, discovered an indoor psilocybin mushroom grow operation, according to a press release. They also discovered a loaded 12 gauge shotgun in the residence.
