Work continues on the West Walnut Street Corridor Redevelopment Plan, a $33 million project that Johnson City officials hope will spawn revitalization and development of an area that connects East Tennessee State University to the downtown.

Crews continue to tunnel under the railroad tracks between State of Franklin Road and Founders Park. City officials expect this work to continue for the next five weeks.
