I made my way to Carter County for this week’s edition of Pets of the Week. The folks there do a great job caring for the animals, and making sure they have all they need to remain healthy, happy, and ready to find a new home.
These are just a few of the animals on hand:
• Scully and Cosmo are three-month-old brothers, and they’re a wonderful, little handful. Happy and healthy Chihuahuas, the two of them would make a great bookend for any family or owner looking to spice things up and add some personality to their home and life. If you get a chance, visit the two and see for yourself!
• Sawyer is a very well-behaved, very sweet, three-year-old Redbone Hound mix who has dealt with a lot in his life. He loves people, but is wary of first-timers and cameras. He likes other animals as well, but he may take a while to warm up to them - he just needs someone with good taste and a good home to realize what a good boy he can be. Take a chance, and take him home.
• Spunky is just as her name would suggest - full of life and energy. She is four months old, and this gray and black Tabby wants to find a good home with you. If you’re looking for a sweet, curious, active domestic short hair, look no further!
• Everest is a five-year-old, neutered, male Calico with a beautiful white and gray coat. He’s laid back, loving, and willing to do whatever he needs in order to secure a place in your home and your heart. If you have the opportunity to pay him a visit, I think you’ll see that this big fella would be a perfect fit at your place!
