Photo gallery: Readers share photos of total lunar eclipse
Stargazers in Northeast Tennessee and Southwest Virginia had a clear view of a total lunar eclipse that occurred Sunday night. A lunar eclipse occurs when the sun, moon and Earth align, and the moon passes into Earth's shadow, according to NASA.
