Johnson City Community Theatre will present its latest production, the comedy “One Man, Two Guvnors,” this weekend and again Oct. 16-18 and Oct. 23-24.
The play is a British farcical comedy that will keep audiences laughing continuously throughout the 2-hour show and features a live band and cast of local actors.
The plot centers around an over-the-top romance, a confusing murder mystery and a man who works for two bosses or "guvnors" and gets confused in a zany way as he tries to keep one employer from finding out about the other.
The first show is tonight. Performances begin Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m. plus 2 p.m. matinees on Oct. 18 and Oct. 24. Tickets are $15 each with discounts for seniors, students and the military.
For tickets, call 423-926-2542 or visit the theatre’s website at jcct.info.
The theatre is located at 600 E. Maple St. in Johnson City.
“One Man, Two Guvnors” is sponsored in part by Time & Pay and Henry and Flora Joy and by a grant from the Tennessee Arts Comission and KingsportArts.
