The Johnson City Press presents "From the Warehouse," a new music-driven series highlighting local and regional artists. Hoping to periodically provide homegrown acts with a video platform, the series is shot on premises (in an old battery warehouse) with the artists' permission.

This session comes courtesy of The Dimestore Cowboys, a four-piece from Johnson City that plays honky tonk and outlaw country. "We all come from strong Appalachian roots and do our best to preserve that sound," says the band.

That they do. And they do it well. Check out their song, "Lay Love Down."
