Domestic assault: Johnson City police charged a man Saturday with injuring two people during a domestic dispute. Michael J. Felt, 27, 2804 Granbrook Drive, was arrested after police were called to his residence about 7 p.m. A female relative of Felt and her male companion told police Felt had physically assaulted them, causing serious injuries. Felt was held in the Detention Center under $20,000 bond awaiting a Sessions Court appearance set for Monday.
Motel assault charges: A Carter County man was charged Friday in Johnson City with aggravated burglary, theft under $1,000 and two counts of aggravated assault resulting from a situation at a motel earlier in the week. Kipplan Arnett, 114 Herman Johnson Loop, Roan Mountain, was served with a warrant at the 11E Motel, 3500 W. Market St., about 10:30 a.m. Police said the charges resulted from events at the motel on March 29. He was held in the Detention Center under $20,000 bond awaiting a Sessions Court appearance set for Monday.
Burglary and assault charges: Johnson City police on Thursday served a city man with a warrant charging him with aggravated burglary, theft of property and two counts of aggravated assault. Emory Jackson, 40, 1 Preservation Circle, was seen leaving the Park N Stay Inn, 3406 W Market St., about 7:45 p.m. En route to the motel, police saw Jackson in the parking lot of the EZ Discount Tobacco Store on West Market and arrested him. He was held in the Detention Center under $40,000 bond and arraigned Friday in Sessions Court.
