Bristol man charged with stabbing teen

BRISTOL — Police on Thursday announced the arrest of a local man in the recent stabbing of a teenager.

The 16-year-old victim was treated for non-life threatening injuries at a local hospital after the stabbing Wednesday.

Cameron A. Donelson, 20, Bristol, was charged with aggravated assault. He was held in the Sullivan County Jail under $5,000 bond.

About 7:50 p.m. Wednesday, police were flagged down by a driver at the intersection of Weaver Pike and Cedar Valley Road. The driver told officers he had been in a fight and had been stabbed in the back and received a laceration to the hand. Officers were able to determine the incident occurred at an address on Basham Hill Road.
