KINGSPORT – A 50-year-old Kingsport woman was fatally struck by a Honda Accord late Sunday night as she was attempting to cross West Stone Drive in a motorized, mobility chair.

According to the Kingsport Police Department, the collision took place shortly before 11 p.m. on Sunday on West Stone Drive near Fairmont Avenue. Police say Paula Collier was operating a motorized, mobility chair that she had borrowed from an acquaintance, attempting to cross Stone Drive in a north to south direction.
