Johnson City man accused of threatening 2 with handgun

Police said a Johnson City man threatened to shoot two people during an argument earlier this month, resulting in his arrest Tuesday.

David A. Dixon, 28, 103 Sequoyah Drive, was charged with two counts of aggravated assault.

About 12:30 p.m. Oct. 5, police went to 817 Hamilton St. regarding a report of an assault involving a handgun. Two people told police Dixon had threatened to shoot them. Dixon later went to police headquarters to provide his side of the story, according to a news release.

After the investigation, police obtained warrant for Dixon’s arrest. They found him outside his apartment on Tuesday. He was later released from the Washington County Detention Center on $10,000 bond and arraigned Wednesday in Sessions Court.
