Big Mac attack? Car owner tells Johnson City police alleged burglar ate his McDonald's

An auto burglary charge was placed Thursday against a man accused of getting into a vehicle and munching on the owner’s fast food.

Armon Rakel Grant, 22, no address available, was arrested about 5:30 p.m. after police were called to the 1300 block of Spring Street, where they found him still seated in the vehicle, according to a news release.

The victim told police Grant entered his car and began eating his McDonald’s food. The victim asked Grant to get out of the car, but Grant refused.

Grant was charged with auto burglary and theft of property under $1,000. He was held in the Washington County Detention Center under $11,000 bond awaiting a Sessions Court appearance set for Friday.

The 1300 block of Spring Street is adjacent to Powell Square Park.
