Two reportedly in possession of 150 cloned debit/credit cards

Johnson City police arrested a man and woman on Sunday who they said were in possession of 150 cloned debit/credit cards.

According to a release from the Johnson City Police Department, officers arrested arrested Claudio Nacu, 28, 218 NW 9th Ave, Dania, Fla., and Adelina Nacu, 29, 7575 E Arkansas Ave., Denver and charged them with 150 counts each of criminal simulation.

Police said their arrests stemmed from an investigation of ATM fraud at local banks. The Nacus were located at 1805 W. State of Franklin Road. Johnson City police were assisted by the U.S. Secret Service and the Kingsport Police Department in the investigation.

Claudio and Adelina Nacu were being held on $100,000 bond each at the Washington County Detention Center. They are scheduled to be arraigned at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Washington County General Sessions Court.
