Johnson City Police officers said they initiated a traffic stop after observing a motorcycle driving on the trail. During the stop, officers were notified of active warrants on Jordan from Washington County for probation violation.
As officers attempted to take Jordan into custody, they said he pulled away, then tried to prevent officers from putting him in handcuffs. After his arrest, officers found he had a handgun, a large amount of what they suspected was methamphetamine, numerous small baggies, a glass pipe and a scale.
Jordan was arrested and transported to the Washington County Detention Center where he is being held in lieu of a $23,000 bond. His arraignment is set for Feb. 26 at 1:30 p.m. in Washington County General Sessions Court. He is charged with Possession of Methamphetamine with intent to Deliver/Sell, Possessing a Firearm during Commission/Attempt to Commit Dangerous Felony, Resisting Stop/Arrest, Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia, and Trespass by Motor Vehicle.
