Man pulled knife on taxi driver, Johnson City police say

Johnson City police arrested a man Wednesday after a 911 call from a taxi driver who said she had been threatened with a knife during a dispute over taxi fare, police said in a news release.

Robert Stinson, 20, 261 Fortions Drive, Limestone, was charged with aggravated assault, unlawful drug paraphernalia and theft of services under $500.

Stinson was held in the Washington County Detention center on $5,000 bond and set to appear Thursday in Sessions Court.
