Greeneville woman faces multiple drug charges after Johnson City traffic stop

Johnson City police arrested a woman with multiple drug charges Monday evening after a traffic stop on Boones Creek Road, police said in a news release.

When police found that Katherine Brady, 34, 105 Ocean Blvd., Greeneville, was driving on a revoked license and in an unregistered vehicle, they searched Brady and found two baggies of Suboxone and Clonazepam pills, police said.

While en route to the Washington County Detention Center, Brady admitted to hiding more drugs in her pants. Once at the jail, Brady was searched again. This time, officers found 57 grams of methamphetamine in her pants, police said in the release.

Brady was charged with manufacture/delivery/sale of schedule II drugs, simple possession and casual exchange of schedule II & IV drugs, driving on a revoked license and driving an unregistered vehicle.

She was held on $12,000 bond awaiting a Sessions Court appearance set for Tuesday.
