A disturbance at a downtown restaurant led to an arrest Friday night.

According to a release from the Johnson City Police department, officers responded to a disturbance just before 7 Saturday night when a man was sitting in Wild Wings Café, 71 Wilson Ave., in downtown Johnson City, when he noticed a woman he had filed an order of protection against last month.

The woman, 49-year-old Debbie Fletcher Wampler, reportedly approached the man and began to push him and telling him to leave the restaurant, police say. The man recorded the alleged assault on his cell phone.

Police say that due to Wampler's actions while under an order of protection, she was charged with aggravated assault and violation of an order of protection and taken to the Washington County Detention Center and held on $6,000 bond.

Wampler's arraignment is scheduled for Monday.
