Police charge Johnson City man in theft of jewelry

A Johnson City man was arrested Sunday after police received a report about jewelry being stolen at a Clairmont Drive address.

According to a Johnson City Police Department news release, Randy R. Pritchard, 27, 827 Clairmont Drive, was charged with theft of property over $1,000. Police said Pritchard admitted taking the jewelry and selling it.

Pritchard was being held in the Washington County Detention Center on $5,000 bond. His arraignment is scheduled for Tuesday in Washington County Sessions Court.
