A Lincoln Avenue woman was charged Thursday with striking a man with her vehicle while violating an order of protection involving another man.

Toni Davis Hicks, 49, was charged with aggravated assault, simple possession and violation of an order of protection.

Police investigated a report at 919 Johnson Ave., where Delane Morris alleged Hicks struck him with her vehicle. Several witnesses corroborated Morris’ statement, police said.

David Shipley, who has an order of protection against Hicks, was on the scene during the incident. During Hicks’ arrest, police found marijuana on her, police said in a news release.

Hicks was held in the Washington County Detention Center on $17,000 bond awaiting a Sessions Court appearance set for Monday.
