Tinted car windows landed two men in jail Tuesday after a Johnson City police officer conducted a traffic stop in south Johnson City.

Police pulled over the driver Monday due to the darkened windows. During the encounter with the occupants — Jaire Hussey, 25, 201 Holly Lane, Elizabethton, and  Antonio Jackson, 23, who had no known address — officers found approximately five grams of crystal methamphetamine and two firearms during a search of the vehicle.

Hussey was charged with possession of a handgun by a convicted felon and violation of the window tint law. Jackson was charged with possession of methamphetamine for resale, possession of a firearm during a dangerous felony and possession of unlawful drug paraphernalia.

The men were transported to the Washington County Detention Center where they were being held in lieu of $10,000 bond for Hussey and $21,000 bond for Jackson.
