Johnson City man arrested on charges of selling oxycodone

Johnson City police arrested a man on Monday accused of selling drugs to a confidential police informant in an investigation that began three months ago.

Deon Presnell, 21, 3 Mel Circle, was charged with two counts of selling schedule II drugs. The charges stemmed from an investigation into the distribution of illegally diverted prescription oxycodone pills that began in August. Police said that during the investigation Presnell sold oxycodone pills to an person working on behalf of law enforcement on two occasions.

Presnell was transported to the Washington County Detention Center where he was being held in lieu of $20,000 bond.
