Erwin man killed in motorcycle crash

UNICOI — A 73-year-old Erwin man was killed Monday afternoon when he lost control of his motorcycle near Exit 32 on Interstate 26, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

A THP report said James A. Buck Jr. was killed in the crash that occurred about 3:48 p.m. Buck was reportedly traveling east on I-26 and lost control of his 1991 Honda ST1. The report said the motorcycle rolled and threw Buck into the cable barrier that separates the lanes of traffic, causing the fatal injuries.
