ROGERSVILLE — The Hawkins Sheriff's Office stumbled upon a teen house party in progress early Sunday morning in the West Hills neighborhood of Rogersville, resulting in two adults arrested, and six of the seven juveniles present were cited.

Five of those juveniles were taken to the Hawkins County Memorial Hospital for observation due to their intoxication levels.

A mom was also arrested after the HCSO called her to come pick up her son at the house and she allegedly drove to the residence under the influence of drugs.

As it turns out, the son was only at the party after friends who were there called and asked for a ride. He was detained by police but not cited.
