Ten local schools and art groups have created mural panels for the Johnson City Sesquicentennial “Arts & Culture” month. The theme for the mural panels is “Johnson City: 150 Years.” The 5 foot by 10 foot panels depict various aspects of Johnson City history and culture.

They are mounted on the side of a downtown building facing a city parking lot and the Greyhound bus side of the Johnson City Transit statin.

An official unveiling will take place 10 a.m. Saturday, May 18, at 137 W. Market St. in downtown Johnson City.
