Big Dan's BBQ opened almost 10 years ago in Stoney Creek (back then it was known as Creeker's BBQ), serving some of the finest food the region has experienced. The pit boss at the popular establishment, Dan Britt, was the major factor in the restaurant's success, and cultivated a reputation for quality. Dan took ownership and changed the name to Big Dan's BBQ in 2015, and hasn't looked back since. He continues to serve some of the best BBQ and sides in East Tennessee, and recently moved his signature flavors to downtown Elizabethton, setting up shop on the far end of Elk Avenue.
