TRUSTEE'S NOTICE OF SALE WHEREAS, by Deed of Trust dated January 7, 2013, and recorded in the Register's Office for Washington County at Jonesborough, Tennessee, in Roll 785, Image 457, Billy W. Pleasant, conveyed to Olan O. Jones Jr., Trustee, the hereinafter described real estate to secure the payment of a Note in the original principal amount of $96,000.00; and WHEREAS, the undersigned was appointed and substituted as Substitute Trustee under this Deed of Trust by a substitution dated September 10, 2021, and recorded in the Office of the Register of Deeds for Washington County at Jonesborough, Tennessee in Roll 1073, Image 83; and WHEREAS, default has been made in the payment of said indebtedness and other provisions of the Deed of Trust have been violated, and Eastman Credit Union, the holder of said indebtedness has declared the entire amount due and payable as provided in said Deed of Trust, and the Substitute Trustee has been directed to foreclose the Deed of Trust in accordance with the terms thereof; and WHEREAS, the public is hereby notified that the undersigned Substitute Trustee will sell the hereinafter described real estate at public auction, to the highest and best bidder, for cash in hand, at the main entrance of Washington County Courthouse, 100 E. Main Street, Jonesborough, Washington County, Tennessee, at 1:00 p.m. on October 7, 2021. Situate, lying and being in the 5th Civil District of Washington County, Tennessee, and more particularly described as follows, to-wit: BEGINNING at a point on the southeasterly sideline of U.S. Highway 11-E, said point of beginning being distant 200.00 feet along said sideline from the Cooper property; thence in a southeasterly direction South 46° 34' East, 192.22 feet to a point; thence in a southwesterly direction South 51° 55' West, 100.00 feet to a point; thence in a northwesterly direction North 46° 32' West, 192.93 feet to a point on the southeasterly sideline of U.S. Highway 11-E; thence with the southeasterly sideline of U.S. Highway 11-E, North 52° 20' East, 100.00 feet to the Point of Beginning. AND BEING the same property conveyed to Billy W. Pleasant by deed dated January 7, 2013 from Johnny Carroll Sluder, Betty Pleasant Tipton, Billy Wayne Pleasant and Joann Pleasant Foshie of record in Roll 785, Image 453, in the Register's Office for Washington County, Tennessee.
