The City of Johnson City reserves the right to reject any and all Bids, to waive irregularities in the Bids, and to determine the lowest responsible Bidder. All Bidders must be licensed Contractors in the State of Tennessee, as required by the Contractor's Licensing Act of 1994, State of Tennessee. The State Contractor's License bid envelope form must be completed and attached to outer bid envelope. A copy of the State Contractor's License shall be included with the bid package. Contractors must comply with all Drug Free Requirements. The work in general consists of the following approximate quantities: 1. Replacement of existing water lines in three areas without disrupting water service to existing customers. Replacement consists of approximately ±9,000 linear feet of water line installation. 2. The allotted construction time is one hundred eighty (180) calendar days to substantial completion and two hundred ten (210) calendar days to final completion.
