The bride is a daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Patrick John McManus, Fredericksburg, Va.
She is a granddaughter of Dr. and Mrs. Reginald Paul McManus, Springfield, Va.; Mrs. William Vernon Pleasants, Washington, N.C.; and the late William Vernon Pleasants.
The groom is a son of Dr. and Mrs. John Lowell Holbrook, Johnson City, Tenn.
He is a grandson of Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Francis Scott, Huntington, W.Va.; the late Madge Lewis Scott; and the late Dr. and Mrs. Thomas Jefferson Holbrook.
Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a ball gown of natural dupion silk featuring an embellished Sabrina neckline, an open V-back and cummerbund waist, and alternating covered and crystal buttons that trailed down the back of the gown and extended into a chapel-length train.
Maid of honor was Cameron McManus Wortham, sister of the bride.
Bridesmaids were Amy Holbrook Turk, sister of the groom, Isabel Loring Bacon, Virginia Hamilton Behlen, McKenzie Forsyth Furber, Marilyn Kane Kelley, Kate Smith Mallory, Elena Durborrough Marsteller, Anna Lindsey Moore, Jill Forster Reid and Afton Elizabeth Zaunbrecher.
Flower girl was Kaleigh Elizabeth Thompson.
John Lowell Holbrook, father of the groom, served as best man.

Following a reception at Farmington Country Club, Charlottesville, Va., the couple took a wedding trip to The Homestead, Hot Springs, Va.
