Kayla Banks, Buddy Perea wed

Kayla Banks and Buddy Perea were married Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015, at Evergreen Free Will Baptist Church, Erwin. 

Pastor Noah Taylor officiated the 6 p.m. exchange of vows.

Music was provided by Daniel Daughtry and Alexis Taylor, vocalists; and Maria Daughtry, pianist.

The bride is a daughter of Tracy and Amy Banks, Erwin.

She is a granddaughter of Everette and Bobbie Peterson; and Bobby and Linda Banks, all of Erwin.

The groom is a son of  Jesse Cruz, Ooltewah, Tenn.; and Fern Cruz, Meridian, Idaho.

He is a grandson of Cassie Hobby, Kingston, Tenn.

Given in marriage by her parents and escorted by her father, the bride wore a white Maggie Sottero gown featuring a bodice with delicate sequined embroidery, a sweetheart neckline and a corset back closure.

Maid of honor was Taylor Banks.

Bridesmaid was Alexis Taylor.

Flower girls were Maddie Perea, Brynley Smith and Adelynn Smith.

Ring bearers were Brock Peterson and Cade Peterson.

Dex Rutherford served as best man.

Groomsman was Kyle Smith.

Ushers were Bryson Peterson, Derrick Peterson and Michael Peterson.

Guest-book attendant was Summer Hopson.

Following a reception at the Nolichucky River property of Scott and Marsha Street, the couple took a wedding trip to Playa Del Carmen, Mexico.
