Registration for the annual slow-pitch senior softball league at Johnson City’s Winged Deer Park is underway.

The league is open to men of all abilities turning age 60 or older this year. The season will start in early March and run through October. League play is every Tuesday and Thursday from 10 a.m. till noon.

The cost for registration is $40 per individual with each player getting a new cap and shirt. Furthermore, there’s free winter conditioning from 1-2 p.m. each Tuesday and Thursday during February at the Keystone building gym located next to the Johnson City Seniors Center parking lot.

Register at the annual organizational meeting on Saturday, Jan. 26, at 10 a.m. in classroom 144 of the JC Seniors Center (810 Bert Street). You may also register during regular business hours at the center, which has registration forms and will take cash, check or a credit card for payment, or by going online at www.tricitiesseniorsoftball.com for more information and downloading the proper form, which you can mail.

Eventually, forms will be in other nearby senior centers.
