Washington County Democratic Party to hold annual holiday party

Staff Report • Updated Dec 10, 2019 at 6:04 PM

The Washington County Democratic Party will host its annual holiday party at 4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 15 at the Historic Eureka Inn in downtown Jonesborough.

Attendees are invited to wear their favorite holiday attire. Food will be provided by the WCDP as well as Main Street Café & Catering in Jonesborough.

A suggested donation of $25 per person will be asked at the door. However, everyone is welcome and attendees are invited to pay what they can. No one will be turned away.

Leaders say the event will serve as an opportunity for local Democrats to celebrate the 2019 successes of the Washington County Democratic Party, including the inaugural State of Franklin Dinner and the inaugural Campaign Training Program.

Many will be in attendance, including elected officials, Washington County Democratic Party elected officers and executive committee members, 2020 candidates, volunteers and community members.

The party also invites people to make a year-end gift to the Washington County Democratic Party, which can be done online at wctndp.com/donate. The party says donation will be used to support 2020 candidates to win on election day.
