Carter County Republicans hold Lincoln Day Diner this Thursday

ELIZABETHTON — The Carter County Republican Party will hold its annual Lincoln Day Dinner on Thursday, May 10, at the dining room at Sutton Hall on the campus of Milligan College.

The keynote speaker for the event will be Marsha Blackburn, a Republican candidate to succeed Bob Corker in the U.S. Senate.

A reception will be held for Blackburn, starting at 5:30 p.m. The dinner will begin at 6:30. The menu includes honey baked ham, chicken cordon bleu, vegetables and two desserts.

Entertainment will be provided by the Elizabethton High School Men’s Ensemble, directed by Debbie Gouge.
