And on with this week’s Pets of the Week:
• Lewis is a handsome and sweet, ten-month-old, neutered, male domestic short hair with a dark, black coat and a great attitude. He is sweet and laid back, and would love the chance to go home with a good person or family - and he deserves to do just that.
• Aibreann (yes, that’s the name they gave her) is another sweet cat in the front room of the shelter. A six-month-old, spayed, female domestic short hair, she is also a very active, very outgoing Tortie with lots of personality to share. Pay her a visit, and you’ll want to take her home.
• Tinker is all paws and fun, and is one of the sweetest young dogs I’ve encountered in my visits to local shelters. She is a one-year-old, female, brindle and white Pit Bull mix, and she could use a little training once you get her home. And you’re going to want to take her home once you meet her. I’d almost guarantee it.
• Dozer is a cuddler. He loves people, loves to have fun, and will come to your house completely housebroken and taking up as little space as possible (because he’s a tiny, brown, three-year-old, neutered, male Chihuahua). Like all Chihuahuas I’ve met before, he thinks he’s imposing, and doesn’t like to be around other dogs or cats (he wants all of the attention). He has a tan coat, a desire to be loved, and a need to get out of his cage. Make that happen for him.
