There were some wonderful animals in need of good homes, and I got to spend some time with several. These are the ones who stood out to me as the Pets of the Week:
• Greta is a wonderful, super sweet, and gentle Boxer mix who loved some attention today. A soft white coat and sweet smile make this six-year-old beauty something to look at, and her personality makes her one heck of a catch - pay her a visit and see for yourself.
• Petey is a sweet and playful two-year-old domestic short hair, and he loves people. Black and white, handsome, and playful, he was intent on touching my camera and having some play time before I left. He would be a perfect fit for any age, and any home.
• Grayson is a one-year-old, black and tan, male Beagle mix. He was pretty self-assured and confident during my visit, and seemed to be a good, calming influence on his kennel mate, who was having a hard time adjusting to life at the shelter. If he is this mature at at his young age, I can only assume he’d make a great pet for years to come. Give him a shot.
• Snow is a young, six-month-old, female domestic short hair with plenty of personality to share. She is curious, playful, and happy, and this white Tabby with gray stripes is quite a striking figure to behold. Beautiful, sweet, and lively, she’s a great pick for your next pet!
