Pets of the Week

The weather is finally taking a turn for the better, and things are warming up and drying up - perfect conditions for walking a dog in need of attention and exercise.

So, if you get the chance, pay a visit to your local shelter and spend some time with a good friend - walk a dog, pet a cat, talk to birds —whatever you can do, they’ll appreciate it. Also, if you get time to volunteer or donate, the animals and staff at all of your local shelters would be most appreciative!

This week’s Pets of the Week:

• Molly is a beautiful, young adult, female Heeler mix who loves people and attention, but is having a hard time getting adjusted. She’s nervous and scared at the shelter, and needs to go home with a good family before she has the chance to become accustomed to her surroundings - make that happen for her if you can.

• Bubbles loves to lay in the sun and soak up the rays - especially if there’s someone there to pet her as she does. A brown and gray Torbie with a few orange spots in her coat, she has been spayed, and is ready for her new forever home. Take a chance on this sweet, laid back cat —you’ll be glad you did.

• Allie is an adorable, young adult, female Terrier mix with a wonderfully personable attitude and demeanor. She loves kids and other animals, and really enjoys cuddling and attention. She is jet black with a white chest and a few spots here and there - a beautiful coat that fits a beautiful soul. Pay her a visit and see for yourself!

• Pookie is a handful - a big boy with a big personality and a lot of love to give. He would be the perfect cat for an active family, or for anyone who enjoys good company. A five-year-old, neutered male, this white and tan domestic short hair is fun, playful, and outgoing. He should have a home!
