Pets of the Week

There are always animals in need, and with the temperature dropping, it is extremely important to make sure they have homes filled with love and warmth. If you have a pet at home, don’t leave them outside this evening (or any evening), and if you have the desire to bring a new member into the family, here are a few suggestions —a compilation of past Pets of the Week who are still in need of a good home.

These are our our Pets of the Week:

• Branch is a kitten, through and through. Six weeks old and still adjusting to life at the shelter (Elizabethton/Carter County Animal Shelter), this black and white, male domestic medium hair is playful, fun, and loving. He would be the perfect fit for a family looking for a new member to grow and enjoy life together.

• Camilla is a beautiful, sweet, and attentive, two-year-old Pitbull mix with lots of love to give. A healthy, neutered female at the Unicoi County Animal Shelter, she appreciates the attention she receives, and loves to reciprocate with plenty of kisses and tail-wagging. She would make someone very happy, especially an active person or family looking for a lifetime companion with plenty of affection to share. Come visit with the wonderful Camilla!

• Sweet Pea is a beautiful, brindle and white, Pit Bull who loves to be around people. She is very active and enjoys playing and running, and would make a wonderful pet for a young, active family looking for companionship. She needs training, and isn’t very good with other dogs or cats, but could be with the right environment. Come pay her a visit at the Washington County/Johnson City Animal Shelter!

• Ichigo is an adult, neutered male domestic short hair at the Washington County/Johnson City Animal Shelter who likes to sit around in comfortable chairs. Do you have a good chair at home for this adorable orange Tabby? If so, you should pay him a visit —he’s neutered and happy and ready for his forever home.

Visit one of your local animal shelters soon, and spend some time with the wonderful animals in need.
