If you think you can offer a loving home to one of the animals listed below, just know that there are hundreds more just like them in need of the same thing, all over East Tennessee. Visit your local shelter and give them what they need.
This week’s Pets of the Week are currently living at the Washington County/Johnson City Animal Shelter.
• Philip is an adult, neutered male, orange Tabby who loves people. A domestic short hair with a big personality, he is sweet and curious, and loves to talk —visit with him, and see for yourself if he is the perfect fit for your family.
• Marble is a gray tabby who is just getting used to his surroundings, and comfortable with the people who come to visit. A six-month-old, neutered male, he is very subdued and quiet, and extremely fond of human contact. Come hold him yourself.
• Jack, a five-year-old, tan and white Terrier-Spaniel mix, belies his size and stature with a brave and vocal demeanor. This wiry-haired little fella would make a wonderful addition to any home, and just needs a small window to walk his way into your heart.
• Boone is an adult female miniature Pinscher in need of a safe place to lay her head at night. Very shy and scared, this black and brown beauty is having a rough time adjusting to her surroundings. Don’t give her the opportunity to be comfortable - come visit and take her home.
