Pets of the Week

If there's one thing we can all agree on this summer, it’s this: it is unbearably hot outside.

With the heat, there may be fewer people willing to visit the shelter and take dogs outside for a walk, so keep that in mind, and realize that they need you know more than ever. Pay them a visit. Show them some love. Take them home.

And don’t think that the cats are any less in need because they have air conditioning —they also need your love, care, and attention. Come see what I mean at your local shelter, you’ll be glad you did.

This week’s Pets of the Week:

• Cheeto is an adorable little orange tabby who is all about the action — he loves to play. A 5-week-old neutered male, Cheeto would be a welcome addition to any home or family, and he’d love the opportunity to prove it to you.

• Emma has issues with the kennels, and is not a fan of all the noise, so the staff has done what anyone would do with such a sweet soul, and given her a room up front. She is a brown and white adult female Pitbull mix with beautiful eyes and a sweet disposition to match. She loves people, and cuddling, and would like to lead a very active lifestyle with you and your family.

• Betsy is a 5-month-old female domestic short hair with a lot of curiosity and personality. She has a dark gray coat and big eyes that perfectly offer a window to her sweet soul. Come spend some time with Betsy and her brothers and sisters at the shelter.

Lingo is a very sweet, very shy, brown and tan bloodhound mix who would make any family happy to have her. Still learning what the shelter life is like, she is slowly adjusting to her surroundings - don’t let her get used to it! Come take this eight-week-old beauty home with you today.
