WCJC Animal Shelter, December 13 - VIDEO

The weather is not a friend of your pets once we hit the winter months. Dogs used to being outside aren’t able to enjoy their time in the freezing wind and snow, and cats who love to lay in the sun are finding less and less of it. Take that into account, and make sure you bring them inside, and let them have all the extra sun they can get.

There are plenty of wonderful cats and dogs at the shelter right now, all in need of a good home and a loving family. They’ll be there all winter long unless someone decides to visit and adopt, so if you feel like that someone might be you - don’t waste any time. Make a plan to take a pet home.

You can visit the Washington County/Johnson City Animal Shelter at 3411 North Roan St., or visit them online at tailchaser.org. You can also call at 423-926-8769.
