Albert Herman Rudolf, Jr.

Albert Herman Rudolf, Jr., age 65, of Johnson City, TN, lost his battle to cancer on Monday, May 18, 2020 at The Waters of Johnson City. He was born on June 18, 1954 in Philadelphia, PA, a son of the late Albert Herman Rudolf, Sr. and Agnes Babinsky Rudolf. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Christina. 

Al proudly served his country in the United States Navy aboard the USS Hunley. During his service, he received the following decorations and citations; National Defense Service Medal and the Letter of Accomendation. With over 30 years in the auto industry, Al known by his friends and customers as “Saint Al.” He enjoyed being home with is step granddaughters and playing with his grandson. He loved watching his favorite team, the Philadelphia Eagles.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 21 years, Toni King; step daughter, Christi King and her 3 children Audrey, Adryana and Adonis King all of the home; step son, Rocky King; two sisters, Agnes Rudolf, of Philadelphia, PA, and Bernadette Ballezza and husband Rich, of New Windsor, NY; three brothers, Joseph Rudolf and wife Alison, John Rudolf and wife Darcie, and Mike Rudolf and wife Pricilla, all of Philadelphia, PA; niece and nephews, Brent, of Sun Valley, ID, Emma, of Tampa, FL, Joel, of Issaquah, WA, and Michael, of Newburgh, NY.

There will be no formal services held. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date.

The family would like to extend special thanks to the Doctors and Nurses of the Mountain Home VA Medical Center and UT Medical Center of Knoxville, TN for all their love and care that was shown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016 or to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
