She was born in Johnson City and was the daughter of the late William H. Moore, Jr., and Belvia Bonita Banks Moore.
Paula was of the Baptist faith. She worked at Shoney’s for several years. She enjoyed going to yard sales and never passed one she didn’t like.
In addition to her parents, Paula was preceded in death by her son, David Ray Koski.
Those left to cherish Paula’s memory include her children: Kimberly Koski, Keith McDonald, Kelly Privette, and Ruth Koski; grandchildren: Tiffany Tuck (Morgan), Kevin Hale, Kayla, Lily, Linsey, Colin, and Chase McDonald; 5 great-grandchildren, sisters: Linda Trivette (Ralph), Teresa Hellriegel, Mary Gosnell (Keith); brothers: Kenneth Wayne Moore, Geff Moore (Dolores), and Charles Park; aunt and uncle, Reverend Otis and Pearl Banks, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends, and also special friend since childhood, Becky Taylor.
The family will greet friends to share memories on Tuesday, May 5, 2020 from 11:00 am until a Celebration of Paula’s life at 1:00 pm in the Sunrise Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Services, Johnson City with Pastor Kenneth Grindstaff and Pastor Curtis Hurt, and Reverend Otis Banks officiating. A Graveside service will follow at Washington County Memory Gardens. Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
