Ann was a native and former resident of Johnson City. She was the daughter of the late Richard Lacy, Jr. and Helen Faulk Lacy.
Ann was a 1953 graduate of Science Hill High School and received BS and MS Degree’s from East Tennessee State College.
She was a former Physical Education teacher for nine years, teaching four years in Wisconsin and five years in Virginia. Ann then worked twenty years as a hearing instrument specialist, eventually owning offices in Greeneville, Newport and Rogersville.
Ann attended St. Thomas Episcopal Church, Elizabethton.
She enjoyed Boone Lake, where she spent each summer for twenty-eight years, as well as playing Duplicate Bridge (life master), social Bridge clubs, softball, tennis, bowling and golf.
In addition to her parents, Ann was preceded in death by her brother, Richard Lacy III, her best friend and companion of many years, Mary Wright.
She is survived by her niece, Margaret Andrews and husband Dwaine, Liberty, NC; nephews, Rick Lacy, Pittsburg, PA, Charles Lacy, Columbia, SC, Bill Lacy and wife Dana, Glendale, WI; sister-in-law, Sally Lacy, Ashland, WI; two great-nieces; two great-nephews; several best friends.
It was Ann’s wishes to be cremated.
