She was a native of Hawkins County and was a daughter of the late Mark and Elizabeth “Liz” Burton. Mrs. Stout retired from Sycamore Shoals Hospital after 25 years of service. She was a member of Hampton Church of God. Mrs. Stout enjoyed being with family especially her grandchildren and her great-granddaughter. She enjoyed cooking, traveling and going to church and serving her Lord and ministering to people young and old. Mrs. Stout was so proud of her sons, whom all served their country in the Military. And she always supported the men and women who was serving in the military. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sons, Tommy Stout and Brandon Stout; three brothers, Ray, Gale and Luther Burton; three half-sisters, Dorothy, Ida and Nellie; half-brother, Earl.
Survivors include her husband, Bobby Stout; a son, Bryon Stout of Elizabethton; six sisters, Helen, Jean, Monie, Cecil, Elizabeth and Mildred; grandchildren, Dalton Stout, Barrett Stout, Zoie Stout, Ethan Stout and Sophia Stout; great-granddaughter, Aussie Ella Stout; many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted at 6:00 PM Friday, March 20, 2020 in Hampton Church of God, 401 1st Avenue, Hampton, Tennessee 37658 with Pastor Hobart Bradshaw officiating.
